Aún vivo // Still alive

Autocromos, aproximadamente de 3 1/2 x 4 11/16 pulgadas, realizados por un fotógrafo desconocido en Europa, hace aproximadamente 111 años.

(Solo una forma como otra de mostrar que este blog aún sigue vivo…). Intentaremos que el próximo año sea más activo. Feliz Año Nuevo a todos!

Regresamos de nuevo // We are back again

Regresamos de nuevo…

El dia 31-Dic escribí la que parecía ser la última entrada en este blog. De hecho, así se pensó.
Quizás es el ciclo natural, la gran mayoría de los blogs que he ido siguiendo a lo largo de los años, terminaron por cerrar o borrarse, o simplemente quedar en la red parados, sin actualización.

Algunos comentarios llegaron a ser disuasorios, que si los derechos de las imágenes, que si el contenido simplemente capturado de la red… sin embargo, no hay ningún interés o propósito tras este blog.
No existe ninguna contraprestación económica, los comentarios tampoco son lo que lo mantienen (apenas hay comentarios o interacción)… así que solo el interés por compartir cultura fotográfica es lo que lo mantiene.

He decidido volver, desconozco la frecuencia de publicación que tendré a partir de ahora, pero no quiero que esto se pierda. Si al otro lado hay aunque sea unos pocos lectores, creo que ya merece la pena. No hay más. Compartir por el hecho de compartir, y disfrutar de la fotografía, este es el único motor de todo esto.

We come back again …

On December 31, I wrote what seemed to be the last entry in this blog. In fact, that’s how it was thought.
Perhaps it is the natural cycle, the vast majority of blogs that I have been following over the years, ended up closing or erasing, or simply staying stoped in the network, without updating.

Some comments became dissuasive, what about the rights of the images, what about the content simply captured from the network… however, there is no interest or purpose behind this blog.
There is no any economic input, the comments are neither maintain it (there are hardly comments or interaction)… so only the interest in sharing photographic culture is what keeps it.

I have decided to go back, I do not know how often I will publish from now on, but I do not want this to be lost. If on the other side there are even a few readers, I think it’s worth it. There’s no more. Share by the fact of sharing, and enjoy photography, this is the only engine of all this.

Any input or comment will be well received.

Ayer dia 10 de Diciembre este blog cumplió 4 años.

4 años puede ser mucho tiempo si miramos hacia adelante y nos intentamos imaginar cómo seremos cuando transcurra este tiempo, pero si miramos hacia atrás parece que ha pasado rápido. 4 years can be long time if we look ahead and try to imagine how we will be when this time expires, but if you look back it seems to have passed quickly. A blog is nothing without readers, so I want to thank all those who pass by here to read or just look, I appreciate doubly returnees, and infinitely those who are habitual.

Hurra! 2 años!
Este blog cumple 2 años hoy, y me gustaría celebrarlo con otro gran salto de alegría… Hasta Philippe Halsman y Marilyn Monroe saltan para celebrarlo ;)

Gracias a todos los que pasáis por aquí, bien por casualidad o porque un buscador os ha hecho llegar. Gracias doblemente a los que vuelven de vez en cuando a leer y mirar fotografías, y por supuesto, gracias mil a los lectores fieles que siguen a diario la trayectoria de este cuaderno de notas, que se va haciendo más grande de lo que inicialmente podría imaginar.

Mi única recompensa es ir viendo que los contenidos resultan interesantes, y leer algunas aportaciones que los lectores escribís.

…y mientras tanto, ya 500! Esta es la entrada número 500 en este blog. Cuando comencé este proyecto, jamás pensé que podía llegar a publicar una entrada con este título.
Gracias a todos los que pasan y leen, o simplemente miran fotografías. Gracias doblemente a los que vuelven. Un blog sin lectores es sólo un diario, pero saber que a alguien le interesa leer todo esto, anima a continuar.

Es hora de sacar el mejor mantel, poner las mejores copas, y adornar una mesa a la que sentarnos a celebrar. Y es justo en este momento cuando deberíamos ser conscientes de que hoy sentamos a quienes están, que algún día alguien que hoy está no se sentará en esa mesa, y que llegará también el día en que nosotros tampoco nos sentaremos. Solo en este momento -si la lucidez nos lo permite- sentiremos en esa mesa a los que ya no están, y dedicaremos desde nuestro interior nuestra personal pequeña celebración hacia ellos. Feliz Navidad a todos.

It’s time to make the best tablecloth, put the best cups and decorate a table where to sit down to celebrate.
