El proyecto “De 1 a 100 años” es un impresionante proyecto de retrato realizado por el fotógrafo belga Edouard Janssens en el que fotografió 100 mujeres y 100 hombres en cada edad entre 1 y 100 años. Su objetivo era mostrar el proceso de envejecimiento de una manera positiva y proporcionar una visualización interesante de la relación entre las generaciones. No elegió a dedo a los sujetos, todos los participantes participaron voluntariamente a través de la página web del proyecto (excluyendo los niños, por supuesto).
Curiosamente, Janssens mismo aparece en el proyecto, su autoretrato se puede ver en el número 50 en el lado de los hombres.

1 to 100 Years Project is an awesome portrait project by Belgian photographer Edouard Janssens in which he photographed 100 women and 100 men at each age between 1 and 100. His goal was to show the aging process in a positive manner and to provide an interesting visualization of the link between generations. He didn’t handpick the subjects either, all the participants volunteered through the project’s website (excluding the kids, of course).
Interestingly enough, Janssens himself appears in the project, his self-portrait can be seen at number 50 on the men’s side.
