Un elefante se balancea peligrosamente en una pequeña rueda y una chica joven cuelga sus piernas en un columpio a miles de metros en el aire.
Estas imágenes surrealistas pueden hacer uno quiera verlas dos veces ya que lo cotidiano se mezcla con el inusual uso de Photoshop.
El fotógrafo y artista Caras Ionut ha creado las impresionantes imágenes girando sus propias fotografías ordinarias en creaciones extrañas y de otro mundo.

El fotógrafo de Rumanía se describe a sí mismo como un “foto mecánico” y ha creado una alucinante serie de imágenes utilizando el programa informático.
A menudo utilizando una imagen normal como punto de partida, Ionut mezcla lo cotidiano con lo extraordinario cambiando una simple escena de una niña de pesca en un lago en una imagen sorprendente de la muchacha montando en la parte superior de un enorme pez.
Astas de ciervo que se han transformado en un par de árboles – completado con pájaros que vuelan desde las ramas, y un ciervo se sienta cómodamente en un sofá maltrecho en medio de un desierto de barro.

Ionut describe su trabajo como una manifestación de los sueños y dice que se inspira en los colores del otoño y el invierno.
Además de trabajar como fotógrafo profesional y retoque, ofrece cursos y tutoriales para personas que quieren aprender cómo manipular digitalmente las fotografías.

Photographer and artist Caras Ionut has created the stunning images by twisting his own, ordinary photographs into bizarre and otherworldly creations.

The Romania-based photographer describes himself as a “photo mechanic” and has created the series of mindboggling pictures using the computer program.
Often using a normal picture as a starting point, Ionut mixes the ordinary with the extraordinary changing a simple scene of a girl fishing by a lake into a startling image of the girl riding on top of a huge fish.
A stag’s antlers have been transformed into a pair of trees – complete with birds flying out of the branches and a deer sits comfortably on a battered sofa in the middle of a muddy wasteland.

Ionut describes his work as a manifestation of dreams and says he takes his inspiration from the colours of autumn and winter.
As well as working as a professional photographer and retoucher, he offers courses and tutorials to people that want to learn how to digitally manipulate photographs.
