Martine’s Legs. 1967.
Martine Franck y Henri Cartier-Bresson vivieron juntos hasta la muerte de Bresson en 2004. Al mismo tiempo, a los dos les encantaba fotografiar el uno al otro en momentos íntimos, ya sea en casa o de viaje. Por cierto, Martine es la mujer detrás de una de las imágenes perdurables tomadas por Bresson, “Las piernas de Martine” (la primera mostrada). Gracias a estas imágenes, podemos tener una idea de cómo era la vida y la relación de dos de los fotógrafos más talentosos del siglo XX, que a pesar de que raramente discutieran sobre fotografía, con certeza se entendían cuando estaban con una cámara en la mano.

Martine Franck and Henri Cartier-Bresson lived together until the death of Bresson in 2004. At the same time, the two loved to photograph each other in intimate moments, whether at home or traveling. By the way, Martine is the woman behind one of the enduring images taken by Bresson, “Martine legs” (first shown). With these images, we can get an idea of what life was like and the ratio of two of the most talented photographers of the twentieth century, although rarely discuss about photography, for sure they understood when they were with a camera in hand.
