Like Hungarian photographer Kereniy Zoltan’s series featuring old and new photographs of Budapest, South Korean photographer Sungseok Ahn juxtaposes images of past and present Seoul in his series ‘Historic Present.’

Using a projector and a portable screen, he projects large black-and-white photographs of Seoul’s temples and buildings, and contrasts them with their present-day locations.

The resulting images explore the passage of time and space, and offer a look at how much the areas have changed through the years.
