Para su proyecto titulado Improbabilità (“Improbabilidad”), el fotógrafo italiano y manipulador de fotos Giuseppe Colarusso creó una serie de fotografías surrealistas que muestran varios objetos cotidianos de casa y escenas… con un giro. Son en realidad fotos de cosas inútiles que no se encuentran en el mundo real.
Muchas de las fotografías pueden parecer bastante normales a primera vista, pero luego te das cuenta: lo que se ve no acaba de tener sentido. Una foto (imagen superior) es de un rodillo que en realidad no puede rodar. Otras muestran palas de ping-pong con un agujero, utensilios de cojera, o gafas que sólo se ajustan a un cíclope.
Cada pieza de la serie parece hacer la pregunta, “¿Cómo de útiles serían los objetos de uso cotidiano si sus características principales fueran retiradas o alteradas?”
“Es poco probable, pero no imposible” enuncia el proyecto.

For his project titled Improbabilità (“improbability”), Italian photographer and photo manipulator Giuseppe Colarusso created a series of surreal photographs showing various household objects and scenes… with a twist. They really are photos of useless things that you won’t find in the real world.
Many of the photographs may look rather normal upon first glance, but then it dawns on you: what you see doesn’t quite make sense. One photo (shown above) is of a rolling pin that can’t really roll. Others show holey ping pong paddles, limp utensils, or glasses that would only be fit for a cyclops.
Each piece in the series seems to ask the question, “what would useful everyday household objects look like if their main features were removed or altered?”
“Unlikely, but not impossible,” the project’s tagline states.
