“Vine de fuera, las reglas de la fotografía no me interesaban… había cosas que se podían hacer con una cámara que no se podían hacer con cualquier otro medio… grano, contraste, desenfoque, eliminar o exagerar los tonos grises, etc. Pensé que sería bueno para mostrar lo que es posible, decir que esto es tan válido de una forma de usar la cámara como los enfoques convencionales.” – William Klein
