La forma humana en movimiento // Human form in motion (by Lois Greenfield)

Lois Greenfield es una fotógrafa que se hizo famosa por su habilidad para capturar la forma humana en movimiento y su uso como un elemento compositivo en su arte.

Estudió antropología y realización cinematográfica en la Universidad Brandeis a finales de 1960. Después de graduarse en 1970, comenzó a trabajar hacia esta meta, trabajando independientemente para periódicos contra-culturales de Boston, fotografiando todo, desde cárceles de máxima seguridad hasta conciertos de rock.
A lo largo de esta prolífica carrera, Lois ha seguido fotografiando las dos compañías de danza más conocidas del mundo, así como talentosos nuevos artistas, manteniendo al mismo tiempo un próspero negocio de fotografía comercial.

Lois Greenfield is a photographer made famous by her ability to capture the human form in motion and her use of it as a compositional element in her art.

She studied anthropology and filmmaking at Brandeis University in the late 1960s. After graduating in 1970, she started working towards this goal, freelancing for Boston’s counter-cultural newspapers, photographing everything from maximum-security prisons to rock concerts.
Throughout this prolific career, Lois has continued to photograph both the world’s most well known dance companies as well as talented emerging artists, while maintaining a thriving commercial photography business.
